COLLECTION POLICY

Once a collection date and time has been agreed, this must be adhered to.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, a late fee will apply and must be paid before your order is released. Repeated or excessive delays may result in your collection needing to be rescheduled, subject to availability.

The full collection address will be provided once your order has been confirmed and payment has been received. Please ensure you allow sufficient travel time and check parking arrangements in advance.

If you fail to collect your order at the agreed time and no communication has been received, we will attempt to contact you. Orders not collected within 24 hours of the agreed collection time may be disposed of and are non-refundable.

Once the order has been collected, full responsibility transfers to the customer. We cannot accept liability for any loss or damage occurring after the order has left our premises.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the cake is transported safely. Cakes should be placed on a flat surface, ideally in the footwell of the vehicle (not on a seat), and kept secure during transit. We strongly advise against placing cakes on laps or uneven surfaces.

Storage and care instructions will be provided upon collection. Cakes should be stored as instructed and kept refrigerated where required. Cakes should be brought to room temperature before serving for best taste and texture.

We are not liable for any damage caused by extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, humidity, or improper storage once the cake has been collected.

Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in design, colour, and finish may occur.

Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of collection and supported with clear photographic evidence. After this period, we may be unable to investigate or resolve any issues.

All products are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens including nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten and soy. While every precaution is taken, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

DELIVERY POLICY 

Delivery is available at an additional cost, depending on location, venue access and availability. Delivery and set-up charges will be confirmed within your quotation.

Wedding cakes and tiered cakes over two tiers are delivery only and cannot be collected. These cakes will be delivered directly to your chosen venue and set up as agreed.

Delivery will be scheduled within an agreed time window. While every effort will be made to deliver within this timeframe, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times and will not be held liable for delays caused by traffic, accidents, weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure clear, safe and suitable access for delivery. This includes providing accurate venue details, parking arrangements and advance notice of any stairs, restricted access or loading limitations. Failure to provide suitable access may result in delivery being refused or delayed, and additional charges may apply.

For venue deliveries, once the cake has been delivered, assembled (if required) and set up, responsibility transfers to the customer and/or venue. We cannot accept liability for any damage caused after this point, including movement, relocation, improper storage, or interference by guests or venue staff.

Cakes displayed outdoors or in warm environments are at risk of damage due to heat, humidity or direct sunlight. We are not liable for damage caused by environmental conditions once the cake has been delivered and set up.

If the recipient is not present at the agreed delivery time and access cannot be obtained, the order may be returned to the bakery and additional delivery charges will apply for re-delivery, subject to availability.
