Hi, I’m Stephanie!
I have a Fine Art degree and spent nine wonderful years teaching Art & Design in schools. Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do - whether in the classroom or in the kitchen.
I’ve loved baking for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always been “the cake lady” for family and friends. Lockdown, for many of us, became a rare chance to slow down and learn something new. For me, it was the moment I finally had time to deepen my passion for cake decorating. I practised, watched countless tutorials, and found myself completely absorbed in the craft.
Baking has always been part of my life, especially because I use my dad’s secret sponge recipe from the 80s - I swear by it! Every time I make it, my clients tell me how delicious the sponge is, and it means so much to keep that little piece of family history alive in my work.
Alongside teaching, I continued baking for years, but this year I decided to follow my heart: I left the classroom and stepped into the kitchen full-time. It’s been the most exciting leap, and I’m truly grateful for every single order that comes my way.
